Lavenham Classics 2022 was a great success with fabulous weather and an oversubscribed number of entries, resulting in £3,200 being passed to local charities.
Bruce Goddard, event organiser (2017 to 2022) adds: “I moved into Lavenham in 2016 and as a lifelong classic car enthusiast/collector/racer volunteered to put on a car show for the charity when the Carnival ceased.

The event is now focused on being a lower-key village event with a relaxed atmosphere and the last few years’ events, despite covid, have managed to attract a wonderful range of vehicles and good visitor numbers. And, as importantly, has raised much-needed funds for our local charities.”
Was that meant to be Lavenham 2024 or are you recalling past successes? A fan
